From Outdated to Modern - Full Gut Renovation
What started as a severely outdated and damaged kitchen — peeling wallpaper, exposed brick, water-damaged ceiling, and debris-covered floors — has been completely transformed into a bright, modern, and functional space.
Our team at North Atlantic Group performed a full gut, including removal of old wall coverings, floor prep, and wall leveling. We installed new large-format matte gray floor tiles, fresh drywall and paint, and custom white Shaker-style cabinetry with crown molding and brushed nickel hardware.
The new layout maximizes light from the existing window and creates a clean, open flow — perfect for a Bronx co-op. The space is now move-in ready, with durable finishes and a timeless design that adds real value to the unit.

CLASSIC BLACK & WHITE BATHROOM RENOVATION
Complete Waterproofed Rebuild - Built To Last
This bathroom was taken down to the studs and rebuilt properly from the ground up. In the first phase, you can see the full waterproofing system we install on every bathroom: USG Durock cement board with EdgeGuard, coated with red waterproof membrane in the entire wet area around the tub. All walls were re-floated, patched, and prepped for tile — no shortcuts.
The finished result is a bright, timeless, classic New York bathroom. We installed crisp white subway tile in the shower surround, a classic black & white octagon dot floor tile for durability and style, new vanity, and fresh paint throughout. Clean, bright, and built to handle co-op inspection with proper waterproofing behind the walls.

LIVING ROOM & HARDWOOD FLOOR RESTORATION
From Construction Zone to Move-In Ready
This large living area started as a full construction zone — subfloor exposed, debris, paint buckets, and walls in prep. Our team completed a full restoration to bring back the classic Bronx co-op charm.
We repaired and skim-coated all walls and ceilings, completed a full paint job in bright white, and most importantly — sanded, stained, and refinished the original hardwood floors to a rich, dark walnut finish. The floors were buffed to a high-gloss, durable seal that reflects natural light from the windows and makes the entire space feel larger and more luxurious.
The result is a clean, bright, modern living room that still keeps its pre-war character — with brand new walls and restored hardwood that will last for decades.
